Social Media and Customer Service Go Hand in Hand – You already know that consumers are taking to social media to rant (and sometimes even rave), but Edison Research is now showing that a whopping 42 percent of consumers expect a response within 60 minutes … time to get those monitoring tools in order.
Kellogg’s is Taking Social to a New Level – What do you get when you combine a pop-up shop with sponsored tweets? A #tweetshop, of course. Visitors to the shop can “buy” all sorts of Kellogg’s goodies for the price of a Tweet. Talk about innovative thinking.
Traditional Brands Are Gaining in Social – How do you make soup fun? You create an app that allows users to “Warhol-ize” their Facebook photos. 50 years of Pop Art never looked so good.
AMC = 1, Oreo = 0 – If you’re keeping score in this week’s battle of the brands on Twitter, this one goes to AMC Theatres for some hilarious tweeting.
